The Process

We start with a free initial consultation. Once acquainted, our mission is to gain an understanding of operations that, as closely as possible, approximates the honest, ‘un-varnished’ impression visitors and guests are likely to experience – rather than what may have been rehearsed. We accomplish this through destination research, a site visit, staff, and management interviews. We may also look at other aspects of the business that are important to you and your clients. 

The Report

Our Destination Readiness report will offer insights into what guests are likely to notice, praise, and criticize. Impressions like those you wish guests would have shared with you before writing that unfiltered online review.

Our report will affirm strong practices already in place and offer recommendations on how to create a more guest friendly experience. It will include suggestions on practical, uncomplicated, inexpensive things you can do immediately and soon after our assessment. The report will highlight business practices that individuals, group hosts and professional tour directors & guides might WISH had been in place when they first visited. Our goal is to help you recognize problems before they occur, improving your guest readiness.

Timing

Following initial consultation and depending on the size and nature of your tourism-centric operations, an assessment might be conducted in as little as a day or require several.
